CLI – PDF Preflight check – reliable and high performance |
pdfInspektor3
CLI is the PDF preflight standard and by far the most

"Reliable pre-flight engine, quick, robust and
trust worthy"
“When we set out to look for a reliable pre-flight engine
that would be quick, robust and trust worthy, and easy to integrate
into our numerous workflows, it was evident that there was only
one clear choice: pdfInspektor3 CLI was easy to deploy and integrate
into our various workflows and is now the core technology we use
to pre-flight all the files we receive through our different web
portals. We also use pdfInspektor3 CLI extensively internally
to check the files we create. Because it is the same engine that
has been proven time and time again in its use within Acrobat
Professional 7 it means that there is no discrepancy between preflighting
done within Acrobat and through one of our various web portals.
We are extremely happy with the performance, and accuracy of the
product.”

"Reliable
solution, saves a great deal of time"
“We
use pdfColorConvert CLI to optimize the inking of our customer
data. Many customers, unfortunately, still supply data not prepared
color-correct. Customers more and more take into consideration
the tone value increase of the printing machine, but neglect the
inking. Quite frequently we receive data with 400% ink coverage,
which is evidently too much for newspaper printing. With pdfColorConvert,
we have finally found a reliable solution to adapt all whole-page
PDFs prior to the RIP process. In processing daily up to 650 broadsheets,
pdfColorConvert saves us a great deal of time we used to spend
on manually optimizing the inking. The much more flexible administration
in comparison to the “Blackbox” RIP and the significant
larger amount of settings to adjust colors allows us to adapt
the print data individually, depending on the customer. The greatest
advantage is possibility to control the adaptation in the PDF
on our own, which was not possible before. The high reliability
and easy-to-monitor server process makes pdfColorConvert even
more worthwhile. We are very satisfied with callas’ command
line version, pdfColorConvert CLI.”
