Focus joins TPT to offer trade-in solution
Positive
Focus has agreed with Turning Point Technologies a deal to offer
XiNET FullPress OPI solutions and WebNative to its customers as
a replacement for Color Central server software.
Ivor
Dixon of Positive Focus says: With the withdrawal of Color
Central from our product range we needed to give our customers a
future-proof replacement that added features and value to the package
we can offer.
The migration to the multiplatform XiNet FullPress is simple
and quick to implement. Users will benefit technically, from a whole
new feature set, as well as financially. TPT managing director,
Steve Emerson says: We are working with Positive Focus to
offer attractive trade-in options to every customer switching from
Color Central to FullPress. We want to make it as easy as possible
for people to make the change; in most cases customers will be up
and running with FullPress the same day with very little downtime
involved.
Positive
Focus has on ongoing relationship with TPT and is already familiar
with FullPress. Mr Dixon says: The product has a mature OSX
version and also supports the Windows platform, allowing us to offer
a direct replacement with minimal hardware costs. We can also add
WebNative for anyone requiring remote access to files from a web
browser, a feature that will be a major benefit to many of our customers.
OPI functionality offers a way of working smarter and faster within
a workflow, particularly one with remote operators. FullPress with
WebNative is an impressive combination in those conditions. One
of our larger customers has been running it for two years and it
has revolutionised the way he does business.
Positive
Focus will be offering complete packages of software and hardware,
recognising that many Color Central installations are overdue for
replacement. By working closely with end-users and dealers
we can provide the best advice and lowest cost option to upgrade
to a fully featured, up-to-date product. Mr Dixon concludes:
While major investments are not at the top of many printers
priority lists, there are significant opportunities to improve their
profitability and flexibility with a simple upgrade and we can guide
them through that process.
